Fine hair and volume may not be synonymous, but just because you don’t have a thick head of hair doesn’t mean you should just surrender to a life of limp, lifeless locks. If your hair doesn’t have that natural bounce, there are plenty of tips and tricks that you can do to make your hair look thicker than it actually is.
Product tips
When looking for the right hair products, look for those that won’t weigh down your hair. Many shampoos, conditioners and styling products are formulated specifically for fine thin hair.
Proper blow drying technique
To properly blow dry fine thin hair, remove the nozzle attachments, put the dryer on medium heat, then lift and blow portions of your hair with a vented brush.
Use heated curlers sporadically
Women with fine thin hair shouldn’t use curling irons on a daily basis, but it can be especially helpful for a night out or special event.
